Policy loan

The policy loan is not one of the common forms of credit. As you might guess from the word policy, it is granted by insurance companies. The prerequisite is that you have a capital-forming insurance policy with a credit balance, i.e. a surrender value. The beauty of the policy loan: You have no liens on property and no repayment at first. However, repayment takes place at the latest when the insurance expires.
