Investment property

An investment property is a property you buy to build up capital, i.e., you profit from it. In contrast to an owner-occupied home, you do not usually use this property yourself but rent it out to other users. This can be an apartment, a multi-family house, or a commercial property, e.g., an office building, a warehouse, a hotel, or similar.
