Appraisal

Building damage, energy efficiency, market value assessment ... there are many reasons to get an appraisal. Often they're not only for you to feel good, but also necessary, e.g., to be able to take advantage of a KfW loan. 

Appraisals are protocols and evaluations of independent experts, who thoroughly examine a matter. This expert opinion is also legally binding — in case of grave errors, legal action can be taken against them.
