Property tax

Property tax is an annual tax on land of which you are the owner. Tenants also often pay property tax indirectly because landlords can pass it on to their tenants under certain circumstances. 

There is no general way to determine the property tax amount because it depends on several factors. In principle, though, you can calculate it like this:

Property tax value x property tax rate x assessment rate
